Becoming a Club Member
Taster Sessions:
To allow you to decide if our club and walking football is for you, the calendar week of your first training sessions (Tuesday and/or Thursday) is a free taster sessions week. You are welcome to try us for free twice in the same week if you wish.

You are welcome to just turn up to one of our training sessions (see Training | Barry Town United Walking Football Club for details) but it would be helpful to tell us in advance so we can send you additional information. You can let us know by sending an email to duffersunited@virginmedia.com

After your taster sessions week, if you choose to stay with us, you need to complete and return a membership form (see below)

Membership Fees:
Because overheads are high we do not operate on a pay as you go basis. We charge a monthly membership fee which must be paid every month regardless of whether you attend all training sessions and currently stands at £20 per calendar month payable on the 1st of each month.
Your membership fee covers insurance, training pitch hire, equipment, match fees, charitable donations, travel costs and supply of Barry Town United Walking Football kit and tracksuit tops.

The payment allows you to train twice weekly (Tuesday & Thursday) every month. for one set monthly fee. If you cant play or train for a number of weeks you can ask for your fees to be suspended until you are able to return.
When you become a club member, fees become due from calendar week 2 of your membership at a rate of £5 per week to the month end. Thereafter payment of £20 will be due on 1st of each month.
Information on how to pay fees will be sent to you once we have your membership form and your membership is confirmed.
